A little More....

Let's set the scene.  You, as your already awesome, rock star, professional self walk into my expertly decorated where-the-magic-happens office (think Anthropology meets Japanese minimalism to create Danish hygge) in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights District.  You throw your exhausted, anxious body on my plush faux leather couch.  You look at me, somewhat surprised that I appear so much younger in person, especially given my vast expertise and experience.  I look at you, anticipating where in your life’s story you will begin.

The next 50 minutes are a dream, for both of us.  You cry a little.  I ask meaningful prompting questions that make you wonder why you never thought of them before.  I want to scream “me too” various times but can’t because of the ethics of my practice.  You leave slightly disappointed we met under these circumstances because you could totally see us being friends.  Me too.  But you know that you have finally found someone that really “gets you,” cares about your story and is interested in making a plan to get you where you want to go.

Now let's make a few minor changes, it's San Francisco or anywhere in the world.  Maybe you are in NYC and I am in Bali.  Maybe its morning where you are and night time where I am.  Instead of my office we meet remotely, likely video chat.  Instead of a therapy session sometimes it's a coaching session.  And in this arrangement, I will scream “me too” at times.

I am an international coach and therapist. I have worked with entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, start-up founders, digital nomads, musicians and college students.  I've worked with individuals and couples. I work with client's struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship issues.

Mostly I just love finding the story under the story.  I want to be introduced to the part of you that feels shameful, stuck and unworthy and I want to introduce you to the parts of yourself that will be crucial in your healing. I believe you possess everything you need to overcome whatever it is you need to overcome, already within you.  I am just a witness.

I have moved to new cities, done the 9-5 and have had relationships that have royally disintegrated.  I have also spent the majority of my thirties (and early forties, gasp!) recreating myself and carefully building the life I live now- with authenticity, insight and intent.  I am currently working on my own journey of plant medicine, meditation and an attempt at aging gracefully.  At the risk of sounding like every dating profile from San Francisco; I like craft beer, figuring out the mom thing with my seven year old, navigating the modern dating scene, running with rescue dogs and being in nature.

I work remotely with the most amazing client’s I likely would not otherwise get to meet, certainly not as intimately.  These things make me the most privileged person in the world.

Now that you know a little more about me, I look forward to getting to know you!
